HOTEL SHUTTLE DRIVER

The DoubleTree by Hilton Grand Rapids Airport is seeking a dependable, professional, and guest-focused Full-Time Hotel Shuttle Driver to join our team!

As a Shuttle Driver, you will play an essential role in creating a positive and memorable guest experience. Our shuttle drivers are often the first and last point of contact for our guests, making this position an important part of our commitment to exceptional hospitality. The pay is $14.50 an hour plus tips. The hours for this opportunity are 7am-3pm or 3pm-11pm.

The ideal candidate will be friendly, courteous, well-groomed, safety-conscious, and committed to delivering outstanding customer service. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, demonstrates reliability, and enjoys interacting with guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Guest Transportation: Safely and efficiently transport hotel guests to and from Gerald R. Ford International Airport.
• Guest Assistance: Provide a warm welcome, assist guests with luggage, and ensure a comfortable and pleasant transportation experience.
• Safety & Security: Monitor hotel parking areas for unauthorized vehicles and report any suspicious activity or safety concerns to management.
• Property Appearance: Help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming hotel environment by ensuring exterior areas are free of litter and debris.
• Shuttle Documentation: Maintain accurate shuttle logs, including trips, mileage, and other required information.
• Team Support: Respond promptly to requests for assistance from fellow team members and hotel management.
• Guest Relations: Represent the hotel professionally while providing helpful information and exceptional customer service.
• Vehicle Care: Conduct routine vehicle inspections and promptly report any maintenance or safety concerns.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record.
• Must successfully pass a background check.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
• Must be able to lift and handle luggage weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Professional appearance, positive attitude, and a genuine passion for hospitality.
• Ability to remain calm, courteous, and professional in unexpected or stressful situations.
• Excellent attendance, punctuality, and dependability.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment.
• Flexibility to work assigned shifts, including weekends and holidays as scheduled.
• Previous hotel, transportation, or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
