Hotel Strategy & Data Analytics (Hotel Revenue)

About the role

Pompome Co., Ltd. is seeking a Hotel Strategy & Data Analytics (Hotel Revenue) professional to join our dynamic management team in a full-time capacity. Based in Bang Rak, Bangkok, this role is pivotal in driving revenue optimisation and strategic decision-making across our hotel operations. You will be responsible for leveraging data analytics and business intelligence to inform revenue management strategies, ensuring maximum profitability whilst maintaining exceptional guest experiences. This position sits at the intersection of finance, operations, and commercial strategy, making it integral to the company's growth and competitive positioning in the hospitality sector.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement data-driven revenue management strategies to maximise hotel occupancy rates and average daily rates (ADR)
• Analyse market trends, competitor pricing, and demand forecasting to inform pricing decisions and promotional campaigns
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) including revenue per available room (RevPAR), gross operating profit (GOP), and other relevant metrics
• Prepare comprehensive reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights to senior management and departmental heads
• Conduct financial modelling and scenario analysis to support strategic planning and investment decisions
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams to align revenue strategies with business objectives
• Identify opportunities for revenue enhancement through channel optimisation, ancillary revenue streams, and guest segmentation
• Utilise data analytics tools and systems to track performance against targets and identify areas for improvement
• Provide recommendations based on analytical findings to drive operational and financial performance
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes with data-backed projections and variance analysis

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Data Analytics, Economics, Hospitality Management, or a related discipline
• Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience in hotel revenue management, financial analysis, or business analytics within the hospitality industry
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and data visualisation
• Experience with revenue management systems (RMS), property management systems (PMS), and business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or similar)
• Strong understanding of hotel operations, revenue drivers, and market dynamics in the hospitality and tourism sector
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into strategic recommendations
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
• Proficiency in English; Thai language.
• Preferred experience with SQL, Python, or other programming languages for data manipulation and analysis
• Preferred knowledge of pricing strategy and yield management principles
