Hotel Supervisor

About the role

As a Hotel Supervisor at DE HOUSE HOTEL, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our hotel in Sibu Sarawak. This position will have you overseeing the day-to-day activities of the hotel, from guest services to staff management.

What you'll be doing

• Manage and coordinate the work of front desk, housekeeping, and other hotel staff to deliver exceptional customer service
• Oversee the handling of guest queries, complaints, and requests in a timely and professional manner
• Assist in the preparation of staff schedules and ensure adequate coverage across all shifts
• Monitor inventory levels and place orders for necessary supplies
• Ensure compliance with all hotel policies, procedures, and safety regulations
• Provide training and support to hotel staff to maintain high standards of performance
• Contribute to the development and implementation of new initiatives to improve hotel operations

What we're looking for

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a hotel or hospitality supervisory role
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to effectively manage a team
• Solid understanding of hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, and guest services
• Proficient in using hotel management software and other relevant technologies
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
