Hotol Manager

About the role

The Hotel Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the beach resort, its accommodations, guest services, and food and beverage (restaurant & bar) outlets. This role ensures smooth daily execution, high standards of guest satisfaction, team performance, budget adherence, and revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily resort operations across all departments, including Front Desk, Housekeeping, Maintenance, and Food & Beverage (Restaurant/Bar/Events)
• Maintain high standards of service, cleanliness, safety, and operational efficiency throughout all guest rooms, public resort spaces, beachfront, and dining facilities
• Inspect guest rooms, common areas, and restaurant areas regularly to enforce quality assurance and brand standards
• Ensure full compliance with local government permits, health and safety codes, sanitation guidelines, and labor regulations
• Serve as the senior point of contact for guest inquiries, feedback, VIP visitors, and escalated complaints
• Monitor guest feedback, online reviews, and social media mentions; establish action plans to continuously improve service ratings
• Collaborate closely with the F&B / Restaurant Head and Head Chef to review menu profitability, service standards, inventory control, and cost management
• Lead, mentor, and motivate department heads, supervisors, and front-line staff
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, training, performance evaluations, and team scheduling to optimize labor costs while maintaining high service levels
• Partner with ownership/management to set, monitor, and achieve operational budgets, sales targets, and cost control goals

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Hotel & Restaurant Management (HRM), or a related field
• 3–5+ years of proven managerial experience in hotel, resort, or hospitality operations, ideally in a resort and restaurant environment
• Strong leadership, team management, and conflict resolution skills
• Proficiency in Property Management Systems (PMS), Point of Sale (POS) systems, and basic Microsoft Office / Google Workspace applications
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Solid understanding of hotel financial metrics, budgeting, and cost control
• Flexibility to work irregular hours, weekends, holidays, and peak holiday seasons as required in resort operations
