House Assistant

Halsway Manor, National Centre for Folk Arts, is the only residential centre in the world concentrating on the varied folk heritage of England. It is a unique, financially self-supporting charity that runs a year-round programme of residential courses as well as wide-reaching creative learning and artist development programme from its 28 bedroom Grade II* listed manor house in one of the most beautiful regions of the UK.

We are looking for someone to join our friendly team, primarily to carry out changeovers in guest bedrooms inbetween our courses. You should be a team player and able to carry out tasks including making beds and cleaning bathrooms. Training will be given.

This role will service the needs of the organisation and our guests, and will include cleaning bedrooms and communal areas and undertaking other house tasks requested by the House and Facilities Manager. This role is for two shifts per week, Monday 10am-2pm and Friday 10am-2pm although additional hours may be available.
