Job Overview

A household urgently requires an experienced, reliable, and organised House Chef to prepare quality meals daily, maintain kitchen hygiene, and ensure meals are prepared according to the household's preferences and dietary needs.

The ideal candidate should have good cooking skills, be attentive to detail, and demonstrate professionalism, cleanliness, and discretion.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare fresh, nutritious, and well-presented meals daily.
• Plan menus according to household preferences and dietary requirements.
• Prepare local and continental dishes as required.
• Maintain high standards of kitchen cleanliness and food hygiene.
• Monitor kitchen supplies and inform the employer when ingredients need replenishing.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of food items.
• Manage food preparation time effectively.
• Maintain kitchen equipment and utensils in good condition.
• Minimise food waste and ensure efficient use of ingredients.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a house chef, private chef, or professional cook.
• Good knowledge of Nigerian dishes and other cuisines.
• Strong food preparation, presentation, and kitchen management skills.
• High standards of cleanliness and personal hygiene.
• Trustworthy, respectful, punctual, and well-organised.
• Ability to follow instructions and accommodate meal preferences.
• Must be willing to work and reside in the stated location if required.
