Part-Time Cleaning Technician

Scrub and Shine Cleaning is a growing, locally owned cleaning company serving the Knoxville and surrounding areas. We are looking for a dependable, hardworking Cleaning Technician to join our team!

We specialize in residential deep cleans, move-out cleans, and post-construction cleaning. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, pays attention to detail, and wants to grow with a small business.

What You’ll Do

• Perform residential deep cleans, move-out cleans, and post-construction cleans
• Clean kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, common areas, and other assigned areas
• Dust, vacuum, mop, wipe surfaces, and clean fixtures
• Clean cabinets, appliances, baseboards, windows, and other detailed areas as needed
• Safely use cleaning products and equipment
• Follow company cleaning procedures and checklists
• Communicate professionally with clients and team members
• Help maintain a clean and organized supply/equipment area
• Work efficiently while maintaining a high standard of quality
• Take before/after photos when requested for job documentation

Schedule

• Part-time to start
• Approximately 1–2 weekdays per week initially
• Typical starting hours: approximately 8–16 hours per week, depending on available work
• Opportunity for additional hours as the company grows
• Most work will be scheduled Monday–Friday
• Some jobs may require travel within the Knoxville and surrounding areas

Pay

Starting at $16/hour

This is an opportunity to grow with the company. After a 90-day introductory period, performance, reliability, quality of work, and ability to work independently will be evaluated for a potential pay increase and additional hours.

• Able to follow instructions and complete work thoroughly
• Previous cleaning experience is preferred but not required — we are willing to train the right person
• Must have reliable transportation to job sites
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
