House Cleaner

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor/Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and safety across our facilities. This role involves performing a variety of cleaning and custodial tasks to ensure a hygienic and welcoming environment for employees, clients, and visitors. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial or residential cleaning, with a strong focus on quality and efficiency. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to the upkeep of our facilities while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Duties

• Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal across various areas of the facility
• Maintain floors through sweeping and mopping
• Clean restrooms, kitchens, and common areas according to established standards
• clean linen and change beds
• Use commercial cleaning equipment and supplies safely and effectively
• Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs or minor repairs as needed
• Support facilities maintenance activities including custodial upkeep and minor repairs
• Follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment during all cleaning operations
• Ensure all work areas are kept organized, stocked with supplies, and maintained in accordance with health and safety regulations

Skills

• Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial services
• Familiarity with commercial cleaning equipment and supplies
• Experience with industrial or facilities maintenance is a plus
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and quality of work
• Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions effectively
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments
• Able to work in the mornings from 10 am and work needs completed by 3 pm
• Able to work mornings to afternoon

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
