Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of residential spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitation.
• Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures to ensure hygienic living environments.
• Handle laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing clothing and linens.
• Use appropriate cleaning equipment and detergents to maintain floors, carpets, surfaces, and appliances.
• Manage manual handling tasks including heavy lifting of furniture or large items safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness through detailed floor care, outdoor work when necessary, and surface cleaning.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand specific cleaning needs and provide excellent customer service.
• Follow safety protocols related to janitorial and custodial work to prevent accidents or injuries.
• Manage time efficiently to complete scheduled tasks within designated timeframes while maintaining quality standards.

Skills

• Proven experience in residential cleaning or housekeeping management with strong janitorial or custodial background.
• Knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor cleaning techniques, carpet cleaning, and outdoor work experience.
• Familiarity with cleaning detergents, equipment operation, and sanitation procedures.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks with proper technique.
• Excellent customer service skills with clear client communication abilities.
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively throughout the day.
• Attention to detail in dusting, surface sanitation, floor care, and overall cleanliness maintenance.
• Experience with laundry processes including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing.
