Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of residential spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitation to uphold high standards of cleanliness
• Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate cleaning detergents and equipment to ensure a hygienic environment
• Clean floors using various methods such as sweeping, mopping, carpet cleaning, and floor care techniques to maintain their appearance and safety
• Handle laundry tasks efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing for clients
• Maintain the cleanliness of surfaces such as countertops, appliances, bathroom fixtures, and furniture with proper cleaning techniques
• Use manual handling skills to lift heavy furniture or equipment safely during deep cleaning or outdoor work tasks
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand specific cleaning preferences and address any special requests or concerns

Requirements

• Proven experience in residential cleaning or housekeeping management is preferred; janitorial experience is a plus
• Knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor care, carpet cleaning, and sanitation procedures
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently
• Strong time management skills to complete tasks within scheduled timeframes without compromising quality
• Physical stamina for heavy lifting, manual handling, outdoor work experience, and extended periods of standing or walking
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients about their needs
• Familiarity with cleaning detergents and supplies to ensure safe handling and effective results
• Attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining high standards of cleanliness in all areas
