House Cleaner

Job Overview

We’re looking for an experienced, dependable housekeeper to help care for multiple beautifully designed guest rooms in our boutique hotel property.

This isn’t a typical cleaning job. Our guest rooms are thoughtfully decorated, welcoming, and full of character, and we’re looking for someone who appreciates beautiful spaces and takes pride in keeping them looking their best.

About the Position

All rooms are located at the same property, within a private home, so no need to travel to multiple locations. They are cozy, stylish guest accommodations with no kitchens, making the cleaning routine, straightforward, and focused on creating a fresh, comfortable experience for each arriving guest.

The right hospitality housekeeping candidate will be someone who notices the little things — a perfectly made bed, a spotless bathroom, neatly arranged amenities, and a room that feels inviting the moment a guest walks in.

We’re Looking For Someone Who Is:

• Experienced in professional housekeeping, Airbnb, vacation rental, or hospitality
• Extremely reliable and responsible
• Available on a regular and consistent basis
• Ability to work and manage time independently
• Has a smartphone for communication, scheduling and timestamps
• Has reliable transportation and lives reasonably close to the property
• Comfortable working respectfully within a private home environment
• Ability to interact professionally with guests and other team members
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently as part of routine cleaning

Responsibilities

• Clean and reset guest rooms between stays
• Make beds, launder and arrange linens and towels
• Thoroughly clean and sanitize bathrooms
• Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, and maintain all guest areas
• Restock toiletries and guest supplies in units and laundry room
• Maintain the look and feel of the rooms and decor and pay close attention to the details that make a room look, smell and feel fresh and welcoming for each guest

Compensation$17/hour to start, increasing to $20/hour after completing ninety day training period. Independent contractor status, (no taxes withheld).

We’re looking for someone dependable, experienced, with a great eye for detail, and who genuinely enjoys making a space look beautiful. This is great opportunity for someone interested in consistent, ongoing work.

Please tell us a little about yourself, your housekeeping experience, your regular availability, your transportation situation, and approximately how close you live to the property.

We look forward to hearing from you!
