RHR Cleaning Services provides professional cleaning services to residential and commercial clients. We are seeking a dependable, experienced, hands-on House Cleaner Supervisor to lead our cleaning teams and ensure every job is completed according to our company's standards.

This position is ideal for an experienced cleaning professional who enjoys working alongside a team, takes pride in quality work, and has the leadership skills to oversee jobs independently.

Job Summary

The House Cleaner Supervisor will perform hands-on cleaning duties while leading other cleaners, managing on-site operations, inspecting completed work, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

This is a working leadership position. You will be expected to clean alongside the team when assigned, direct the work of other cleaners, correct deficiencies, and take responsibility for the overall quality of each job.

The owner will continue handling office administration, estimates, scheduling coordination, and other administrative responsibilities. The person hired will be responsible for leading on-site cleaning operations so the owner no longer needs to travel to job sites to clean, supervise teams, or perform routine quality inspections.

We are looking for someone who can take ownership of the job site, lead the team, and ensure the work is completed properly without constant supervision from the owner.

Key Responsibilities Hands-On Cleaning

• Perform professional cleaning duties alongside other team members.
• Complete assigned cleaning tasks thoroughly and efficiently.
• Follow company cleaning procedures, checklists, and client instructions.
• Perform deep cleaning, residential cleaning, commercial cleaning, and move-in/move-out cleaning as assigned.
• Help correct missed areas or incomplete work before the job is considered finished.

Team Leadership and Supervision

• Lead and direct all cleaners assigned to each job.
• Assign tasks and ensure each team member understands their responsibilities.
• Monitor employee performance, productivity, and attention to detail.
• Provide guidance and training to team members when needed.
• Hold cleaners accountable for following company standards.
• Address routine on-site problems and communicate significant concerns to the owner.
• Maintain a professional, respectful, and productive team environment.

Quality Control and Customer Satisfaction

• Inspect assigned jobs before the team leaves the property.
• Verify that all required cleaning tasks have been completed properly.
• Identify deficiencies and ensure corrections are made promptly.
• Take before-and-after photos and complete inspection checklists when required.
• Take responsibility for the overall quality of the completed job.
• Communicate professionally with customers and address reasonable service concerns.
• Make every reasonable effort to ensure customers are satisfied with the work.
• Report complaints, property damage, additional service requests, or unresolved concerns to the owner.
• Help reduce callbacks, re-cleaning, and customer dissatisfaction.

Job Management and Reporting

• Arrive at assigned jobs on time and ensure the team is prepared to work.
• Review job instructions and confirm that the team understands the scope of work.
• Monitor job progress and help keep work on schedule.
• Report completion status and any delays to the office.
• Monitor cleaning supplies and equipment and report shortages or issues.
• Submit required photos, checklists, and job completion reports.
• Represent RHR Cleaning Services professionally at every client location.

Qualifications and Experience

Required qualifications:

• At least 2 years of professional cleaning experience.
• Strong attention to detail and knowledge of proper cleaning procedures.
• Ability and willingness to perform hands-on cleaning duties.
• Reliable transportation (an automobile to transport all supplies and equipment) and ability to travel to job sites throughout Columbus and surrounding areas.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Dependable, professional, and able to work independently.
• Comfortable using a smartphone to communicate updates and submit photos.
• Availability to accept assignments with reasonable notice, as agreed upon.

Preferred qualifications:

• At least 1 year of team-lead, supervisory, or management experience.
• Previous experience leading residential or commercial cleaning teams.
• Experience with deep cleaning and move-in/move-out cleaning.
• Experience inspecting completed work and correcting cleaning deficiencies.
• Experience handling customer concerns and maintaining service quality.

We are willing to consider a strong cleaning professional who has leadership potential, even if they have not held a formal supervisor title.

Schedule and Availability

This is a part-time, on-call position because our cleaning schedule varies according to customer bookings and business demand.

• No guaranteed weekly hours.
• Assignments are offered as cleaning jobs are scheduled.
• Hours and workload will vary depending on business needs.
• Must be responsive to assignment offers and available to accept work with reasonable notice.
• Some assignments may require flexibility with days and start times.
• Must be able to travel between client locations as needed.

This position is best suited for someone seeking flexible, supplemental income who understands that work availability will fluctuate.

Compensation

Pay is $20–$23 per hour, depending on experience, leadership ability, and qualifications.

Candidates with exceptional cleaning skills and a proven ability to independently manage on-site jobs may be considered for higher compensation.

All compensable hours worked will be paid in accordance with applicable employment laws.
