Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and public areas using appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment.
• Handle various cleaning agents and chemicals safely, adhering to safety data sheets (SDS) and chemical handling protocols.
• Vacuum carpets, mop floors, dust surfaces, change linens, and replenish amenities to uphold cleanliness standards.
• Manage heavy lifting tasks such as moving furniture or supplies with proper manual handling techniques to ensure safety.
• Maintain sanitation by properly disposing of waste and following hotel emergency procedures when necessary.
• Use janitorial equipment effectively, including floor buffers, steam cleaners, and other industrial cleaning tools.
• Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to guest requests and ensuring their comfort throughout their stay.

Skills

• Proven experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles with strong knowledge of floor care and sanitation practices.
• Skilled in the use of cleaning equipment, chemical agents, and industrial cleaning techniques.
• Ability to handle chemical agents safely while maintaining a clean and hazard-free environment.
• Excellent manual handling skills with the ability to perform heavy lifting safely.
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude towards guests and team members.
• Knowledge of hotel housekeeping management practices and hospitality industry standards.
• Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures, safety data sheets (SDS), and janitorial best practices.

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
