Job Summary

Our client, a hotel, apartment, and short-stay company in Wuse, Abuja, is seeking to hire a HOUSEKEEPING SUPERVISOR who will be responsible for supervising housekeeping staff and ensuring that guest rooms, apartments, and common areas are consistently maintained to high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation. The role involves coordinating daily housekeeping activities, inspecting completed work, and ensuring that staff follow established procedures.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree, HND, or OND in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, or a related field is an advantage.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in housekeeping, preferably in a hotel, serviced apartment, or short-stay facility.
• Previous supervisory experience is required.
• Good knowledge of housekeeping procedures, cleaning standards, and hygiene practices.
• Ability to supervise, assign, and monitor housekeeping duties.
• Ability to inspect rooms and common areas and ensure that required standards are maintained.
• Ability to train and guide housekeeping staff on proper cleaning procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and quality control skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage staff schedules and daily housekeeping assignments.
• Ability to monitor the use and availability of cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Ability to identify and report maintenance issues, damages, or missing items.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Honest, responsible, and dependable.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
