House Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate House Manager to oversee the daily operations of a residential care facility dedicated to senior living and specialized care. In this vital leadership role, you will ensure the delivery of high-quality care, maintain compliance with health regulations, and foster a warm, safe environment for residents. Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise care facility teams, including nursing staff, caregivers, and administrative personnel, to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Develop, implement, and monitor personalized care plans tailored to residents’ needs, including Alzheimer’s care, dementia care, and memory support.
• Oversee medication administration processes in compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards.
• Ensure adherence to long-term care regulations, health policies, and resident’s rights while maintaining a safe environment.
• Manage facility budgets, financial planning, and healthcare financial management to optimize resources effectively.
• Coordinate with healthcare providers, disability services, and community resources to support residents’ well-being.
• Maintain accurate documentation using Microsoft Office tools for resident records, incident reports, staffing schedules, and regulatory compliance.
• Facilitate staff training on best practices in senior care, dementia care techniques, and disability services.
• Monitor quality assurance processes to uphold high standards of assisted living and residential care home services.
• Lead efforts in managing regulatory inspections and ensuring ongoing compliance with long-term care policies.

Qualifications

• Proven management experience within nursing homes or senior living facilities with a focus on long-term or assisted living environments.
• Extensive knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer’s care, memory support strategies, and resident’s rights.
• Strong background in nursing or healthcare leadership with nursing leadership experience preferred.
• Familiarity with health regulation policies related to long-term care and residential facilities.
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or complex medical needs is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for documentation and administrative tasks.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise teams effectively while fostering a positive work environment.
• Knowledge of healthcare financial management principles including budgeting and resource allocation.
• Excellent organizational skills combined with leadership qualities necessary for operations management in a healthcare setting.
