This role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating an organized, welcoming home environment and can confidently coordinate household needs, children’s schedules, vendors, and day-to-day logistics.
Schedule & Commitment
This is a part-time position requiring approximately 15–20 hours per week.
Hours are flexible Monday through Thursday, allowing the schedule to be arranged around household needs and the right candidate’s availability. Monday availability is required.
Some weeks may require additional flexibility around family activities, appointments, events, or special projects.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate day-to-day household operations
- Help organize household schedules, appointments, activities, and family logistics
- Coordinate housekeeping, laundry, childcare, cooking, maintenance, and other household services as needed
- Manage household supplies, grocery and household purchasing, inventory, and vendor relationships
- Ensure the home remains organized, clean, functional, and welcoming
- Coordinate vendors, contractors, repairs, maintenance appointments, and property-related needs
- Assist with family events, gatherings, activities, and special occasions

- Assist with childcare coordination and help ensure a safe, engaging environment for children
- Maintain household calendars, staff/vendor schedules, records, and organizational systems
- Help establish and maintain household routines and safety procedures
- Anticipate household needs and proactively address issues before they become problems
Qualifications
- Previous experience in household management, hospitality, property management, personal assistance, family assistance, or a related role
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to independently prioritize multiple responsibilities
- Experience coordinating vendors, household staff, or service providers
- Comfortable working in a family environment and around children
- Strong communication skills and a warm, professional demeanor
- High level of discretion, reliability, and respect for family privacy
- Detail-oriented and proactive, with a willingness to step in wherever needed
- Experience with event planning, childcare, household organization, or administrative support is a plus
Bonus Points for Creativity!
We would especially love someone with a creative or artistic side. Our household enjoys hands-on projects, and there may be opportunities to help bring creative ideas to life—from arts and crafts and children’s projects to seasonal decorating, event preparation, DIY projects, and other fun creative endeavors.
If you are the kind of person who can keep a household organized and gets excited about pulling out the paint, creating something from scratch, or helping turn an idea into a beautiful project, you may be an especially great fit for our family.
Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who sees what needs to be done and takes initiative rather than waiting for detailed instructions. The right person is organized, energetic, trustworthy, resourceful, creative, and genuinely enjoys helping a busy household run smoothly.
This is a hands-on role with significant flexibility and variety. No two weeks will look exactly the same, making it a great fit for someone who enjoys both structure and changing priorities.
