Why join East Haugh House?

Monogram Collective is delighted to be launching East Haugh House, an exciting new hospitality concept in the heart of Highland Perthshire. Offering just twelve beautifully appointed guest bedrooms, East Haugh House combines the charm and intimacy of a private country home with the standards of exceptional hospitality.

Guests aren't simply checking into a hotel; they're becoming part of the house. With all-inclusive dining, drinks, wellness experiences, and a relaxed "help yourself" philosophy, East Haugh House delivers a warmer, more personal alternative to traditional hospitality.

The Role

As House Manager, you will be the heart of East Haugh House and the face of the guest experience. You will lead by example, creating a welcoming atmosphere that makes every guest feel immediately at home.

This is not a traditional hotel management role. You'll work closely alongside the Head Chef as part of a small, close-knit team, delivering a hospitality experience that feels more like staying in a beautiful country home than a hotel.. From personally welcoming arrivals and sharing local recommendations, to serving breakfast and dinner, maintaining exceptional housekeeping standards, and ensuring the house is always beautifully presented, you'll play a hands-on role in every part of the business.

This is not a role where you manage from behind a desk. You'll be actively involved in hosting, service, housekeeping, guest engagement, and operational organisation, ensuring that East Haugh House consistently delivers an unforgettable experience.

You will:

Deliver exceptional, personalised guest experiences from arrival to departure.

Act as host, concierge, housekeeper, organiser and food beverage professional.

Oversee the presentation and cleanliness of guest bedrooms and public areas.

Lead breakfast and evening dining service in a relaxed, informal setting.

Build strong relationships with guests and anticipate their needs.

Curate memorable local experiences and recommendations.

Maintain the pantry, drinks offering and "help yourself" philosophy.

Support stock control, organisation and smooth day-to-day operations.

Work collaboratively with the Head Chef and wider team to create a welcoming and memorable atmosphere.

About you:

We're looking for an experienced hospitality professional who understands that outstanding service comes from genuine care and attention to detail.

You will bring:

Previous guest-facing hospitality experience.

Strong food and beverage service skills.

Knowledge of wine, spirits and drinks service.

Experience serving breakfast, lunch or dinner in a quality hospitality environment.

Excellent housekeeping and presentation standards.

Strong organisational and time management skills.

Confidence working independently and taking ownership.

A proactive, hands-on approach to work.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

A passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Enthusiasm for learning about the local area and sharing recommendations with guests.

Most importantly, we are looking for someone who takes pride in creating memorable experiences and enjoys making people feel genuinely welcome.

You will meet great people, have fun at work, learn new skills, and of course you will also receive a competitive rate of pay and a generous range of employee benefits which includes:

29 days holiday - Use half of your holiday entitlement in January while the business is closed.

Training and development from day one

Employee events and celebrations

Inhouse company interactive employee communication APP

Entry to our state-of-the-art gym and pools

Healthy meals to enjoy while you're working.

Access to an external Employee Assistance Programme

Financial Wellbeing App, allowing you the flexibility to get paid earlier than your normal monthly pay date.

Referral bonus when your friends or family join the team.

Contributions to a pension plan.

Following your first successful 3 months, you’ll also receive ……

Access to our discounts and wellbeing platform “Treat Yourself Here”, unlocking savings and experiences for you and your family.

Involvement in our employee recognition schemes

Long service recognition

Probation pass and annual anniversary complimentary guest experience overnight stay and dinner for two

50% discount in our restaurants

Cycle to Work Scheme

Discounted room rates for employees, friends, and family

Spa treatments and product discounts

Life Assurance cover

This is a live-in opportunity, with accommodation provided on-site, alongside a competitive salary package, offering the chance to immerse yourself in a unique Highland hospitality experience while helping shape East Haugh House from the very beginning.

This unique opportunity is available to either an individual or a couple interested in taking on the roles of House Manager and Head Chef.

Please note, this role does not meet the requirements for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker visa route.

This is a rare opportunity to join the founding team and help establish a destination that guests will remember not just for where they stayed, but for how they felt.

If you are interested in the role, we look forward to hearing from you!

Other offers great for you!
