Job Title: Part-Time House Manager (Operations & Hospitality Lead)

Position Type: Part-Time (20 hours/week)
Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Friday | Split Shift: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Compensation: $22.00 / hour
Location: Fulton/Howard County, MD

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive, highly organized, and warm House Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations and premium hospitality of our boutique, 8-bed luxury assisted living home. In this role, you will be the heartbeat of the house—ensuring our residents receive a high-end, comfortable living experience while maintaining a meticulously clean, organized, and state-compliant environment.

You will work closely with the Assisted Living Manager to lead our on-site team, manage daily logistics, and welcome new families into our close-knit community.

Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Supervise, support, and coordinate schedules for our Caregivers/CNAs and Hospitality Hosts. Cultivate a collaborative, "all-hands-on-deck" team environment.
• Compliance & Daily Quality Control: Perform daily walkthroughs to ensure the home is pristine, safe, and welcoming. Review and verify that all state-mandated documentation, refrigerator logs, and daily care notes are accurately completed.
• Inventory & Food Management: Keep a tight inventory of household supplies, PPE, and pantry items. Oversee the weekly grocery and food ordering to ensure our kitchen is stocked for fresh, premium meal preparation.
• Family Tours & Onboarding: Confidently conduct warm, professional tours of the home for prospective families. Assist the Assisted Living Manager with the onboarding process, moving logistics, and transition care plans for new residents.
• Daily Operations: Manage the daily rhythm of the home during peak morning and evening transitions. Troubleshoot minor household needs and maintain excellent communication with families and vendors.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in senior living, residential care, hospitality management, or a related supervisory role.
• Leadership Style: A natural problem-solver with an eye for luxury-level detail and a compassionate, resident-first mindset.
• Knowledge: Familiarity with assisted living routines and basic regulatory compliance (experience with Maryland COMAR regulations is a major plus).
• Certifications: Current CPR/First Aid certifications and a negative TB test result (or willingness to obtain before starting).
• Background Check: Must be able to pass a comprehensive criminal background check.
