Duties

• Monitor and control access to the home for visitors, service providers, or contractors as needed
• Water plants, tend to gardens, or handle light household chores to maintain the home's appearance
• Collect mail, packages, or newspapers to prevent accumulation and alert homeowners of deliveries
• Respond promptly to any emergencies or unusual activities by contacting appropriate authorities or homeowners
• Maintain cleanliness and organization within the residence during the stay
• Keep detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, or maintenance issues for homeowner review

Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
• Reliable, responsible, and trustworthy with a keen eye for detail
• Ability to follow instructions carefully and handle unexpected situations calmly
• Previous experience in house sitting, pet care, or property management is a plus but not required
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with homeowners or emergency services
• Ability to commit to scheduled stays and adapt to different household routines
