Requirements

• Reliable personal vehicle and valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Maintain a smoke-free environment
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Fragrance-free
• Strong English communication skills
• Ability to navigate multiple flights of stairs throughout the day
• Practice regular hand hygiene (i.e. upon entering the home, after taking out trash, before food prep, etc.)
• Able to work quietly.

About Our Family

We’re a warm, close-knit, and busy household with two parents and one live-in adult disabled son, for whom caregiving is already established. We enjoy simple, healthy, read-to-go meals and would welcome someone contributing on this front a few times per week by preparing ingredients, dishes, and meals per our dietary guidelines, along with managing groceries, performing light cleaning, and caring for our laundry.

• You understand how to care for clothing and household belongings properly and take pride in leaving spaces noticeably better than you found them.

• You are comfortable working independently in a private residence and enjoy taking ownership of your responsibilities.
• You are comfortable asking questions when needed.
• You are genuinely interested in growing into a long-term, trusted presence in our home and who shares our commitment to building a stable, supportive relationship.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare healthy ingredients, dishes, and meals, stored and ready for the days ahead, focusing on batch-cooked items from a family-approved list that reflects our dietary needs.
• Kitchen clean-up, organization, and maintenance
• Occasional deep cleans of fridge, oven, and microwave
• Coordinate grocery list for family, selecting quality ingredients and helping keep the fridge and pantry stocked.
• Handle grocery shopping (primarily online)
• Unpack and put away grocery deliveries
• Wash, fold, organize, and put away full family laundry
• Maintain regular linen rotation, including sheets, pillowcases, and towels
• Keep the laundry area tidy and well-stocked with supplies
