Housekeeper and Tea Parlor Support

The Silver Fountain Inn & Tea Parlor is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented team member for a unique combination position supporting both our 10-room Inn and busy Tea Parlor.

This is a great role for someone who enjoys variety and staying active throughout the day. Weekday shifts begin with housekeeping and transition to dishwashing and Tea Parlor support once guest rooms and laundry are completed. Weekend shifts are housekeeping only.

Housekeeping Responsibilities

• Clean and refresh guest rooms daily, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and restocking amenities.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, replenish linens and towels.
• Maintain cleanliness of common areas such as the Tea Parlor, hallways and function space.
• Launder linens and towels using on-site laundry facilities.
• Report any maintenance issues or damage to management promptly.
• Follow health and safety guidelines for cleaning and sanitizing.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify manager when reordering is needed.

Tea Parlor Support Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, teapots, glassware, cookware, and service items
• Bus and clear tables as needed during service
• Return clean dishes and service items to their proper locations
• Maintain a clean and organized dish area
• Assist with general kitchen and Tea Parlor cleanup

Someone who is dependable, efficient, flexible, and takes pride in doing a job well. These roles need to provide friendly, courteous service and maintain a welcoming atmosphere when interacting with Inn and Tea Parlor guests. This is a physically active position requiring frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and carrying.

Hospitality or housekeeping experience is helpful, but reliability, attention to detail, and a willingness to work as part of a small team are equally important.

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12.0 – 28.0 per week
