Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, changing linens, and sanitizing surfaces to uphold high cleanliness standards.
• Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and breakfast zones using appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment.
• Handle cleaning chemicals safely by following proper procedures outlined in Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and using personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Operate janitorial equipment like vacuums, floor buffers, and steam cleaners efficiently to ensure optimal floor care and sanitation.
• Assist in setting up breakfast areas by arranging food stations, replenishing supplies, and ensuring a hygienic environment for guests.
• Follow hotel emergency procedures promptly and accurately in case of incidents or safety concerns.
• Manage manual handling tasks including heavy lifting of cleaning supplies or furniture while adhering to safety protocols for injury prevention.

Experience

• Prior experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial services is highly preferred, demonstrating familiarity with cleaning routines and sanitation standards.
• Knowledge of industrial cleaning practices and janitorial equipment operation enhances your ability to perform duties effectively.
• Experience handling chemical agents safely and understanding chemical handling procedures is essential for maintaining a safe work environment.
• Strong customer service skills are vital to creating positive interactions with guests and supporting their needs with professionalism.
• Familiarity with hotel housekeeping management practices and hotel emergency procedures ensures smooth daily operations and safety compliance.

Pay: $16.90 - $18.00 per hour
