Housekeeper

Job Summary

Duties

• Perform comprehensive cleaning duties including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, carpet cleaning, and sanitation of all rooms and surfaces using appropriate cleaning equipment and detergents
• Manage laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing clothing and linens efficiently
• Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures to ensure compliance with health standards and safety regulations
• Handle manual tasks including heavy lifting, outdoor work, and moving furniture or equipment safely
• Maintain cleanliness of floors through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and specialized floor care techniques
• Use cleaning equipment properly and perform routine maintenance on tools to ensure optimal performance
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand specific needs and provide personalized housekeeping services
• Manage time efficiently to complete all assigned tasks within scheduled periods while maintaining high-quality standards

Experience

• Proven experience in residential cleaning or housekeeping roles with a strong understanding of janitorial and custodial practices
• Familiarity with cleaning surfaces, floors, carpets, and upholstery using various cleaning detergents and equipment
• Experience in laundry management including handling delicate fabrics and stain removal techniques
• Knowledge of sanitation standards and procedures for maintaining hygienic environments
• Excellent client communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
