Duties

• Implement proper sanitation procedures across all areas, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Manage laundry services efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing.
• Maintain floors through sweeping, scrubbing, carpet cleaning, and floor care techniques to keep surfaces spotless and safe.
• Use appropriate cleaning equipment and detergents to clean surfaces such as countertops, windows, bathrooms, kitchens, and outdoor areas.
• Handle heavy lifting safely when moving furniture or large items during deep cleans or rearrangements.
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding their specific needs and preferences to deliver personalized service.
• Manage time effectively to complete daily tasks within scheduled periods while maintaining quality standards.
• Ensure all janitorial supplies are stocked and maintained; report any equipment malfunctions or supply shortages promptly.
• Follow established cleaning protocols to promote sanitation and prevent contamination in residential spaces.

Experience

• Proven experience in residential housekeeping or janitorial roles with a strong understanding of cleaning procedures.
• Hands-on experience with cleaning surfaces, floor care techniques including carpet cleaning, and the use of various cleaning equipment.
• Familiarity with cleaning detergents and sanitation products along with proper manual handling techniques for heavy lifting tasks.
• Customer service experience demonstrating effective communication skills with clients or residents.
• Knowledge of outdoor work environments is a plus for maintaining exterior spaces when required.
• Previous custodial or janitorial experience that highlights attention to detail and reliability in maintaining cleanliness standards.
• Ability to manage time efficiently while juggling multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced setting.

Pay: $22.73 - $27.37 per hour
