Housekeeper

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Housekeeper to maintain the cleanliness, organization, and overall appearance of residential spaces. Duties

• Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, carpet cleaning, and sanitation of all rooms and surfaces
• Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures to ensure hygienic living environments
• Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing clothing and linens
• Operate cleaning equipment and use appropriate cleaning detergents safely and effectively
• Manage manual handling tasks including heavy lifting of furniture or large items with proper technique
• Maintain cleanliness of outdoor areas if applicable, including patios or entryways
• Communicate professionally with clients to understand specific cleaning preferences and address any special requests or concerns
• Manage time efficiently to complete assigned tasks within scheduled periods while maintaining quality standards

Experience

• Prior residential housekeeping experience or janitorial/custodial background preferred
• Knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor cleaning techniques, carpet care, and outdoor work experience is advantageous
• Familiarity with cleaning equipment and detergents along with proper sanitation practices
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients
• Experience in managing multiple tasks through excellent time management skills
• Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting and manual handling safely
• Previous experience in housekeeper management or supervising housekeeping staff is a plus

Pay: $17.00 per hour
