Duties

• Perform comprehensive cleaning of residential spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface cleaning to ensure a spotless environment
• Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures in accordance with health and safety standards to maintain hygiene excellence
• Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing with care and efficiency
• Clean floors using appropriate methods for different surfaces, including floor care techniques for tiles, hardwoods, or carpets
• Operate cleaning equipment and use cleaning detergents safely to achieve optimal results while adhering to safety protocols
• Manage manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting of furniture or appliances during deep cleaning or rearrangement projects
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand specific needs and provide tailored housekeeping services
• Maintain organized supplies of cleaning products and equipment, ensuring proper storage and inventory management
• Follow strict sanitation guidelines during outdoor work or when handling outdoor spaces connected to residential properties

Requirements

• Proven experience in residential cleaning or housekeeping roles, including janitorial experience preferred
• Knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor care techniques, and sanitation procedures necessary for maintaining hygiene standards
• Familiarity with cleaning detergents, disinfectants, and proper use of cleaning equipment
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and outdoor work activities when required
• Strong time management skills to complete assigned tasks efficiently within scheduled timeframes
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients about their needs and expectations
• Experience in residential housekeeping or related fields such as outdoor work experience is advantageous
• Demonstrated ability to follow detailed instructions for cleaning protocols and safety procedures

Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour
