Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of residential spaces, including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, carpet cleaning, and sanitation of bathrooms and kitchens.
• Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate detergents and equipment to ensure hygiene standards are met or exceeded.
• Manage laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items efficiently.
• Operate cleaning equipment including vacuums, floor buffers, steam cleaners, and janitorial tools with safety and precision.
• Handle manual tasks involving heavy lifting, outdoor work, and furniture moving while adhering to proper safety protocols.
• Maintain cleanliness of surfaces such as countertops, appliances, windows, and fixtures to uphold high standards of hygiene.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand specific needs and provide exceptional customer service that fosters trust and satisfaction.

Experience

• Prior experience in residential or commercial cleaning is highly desirable, including janitorial or custodial roles.
• Demonstrated knowledge of cleaning procedures, sanitation practices, and the use of various cleaning detergents and equipment.
• Experience with floor care techniques such as mopping, polishing, carpet extraction, and surface dusting.
• Proven ability to manage time efficiently while handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Outdoor work experience is a plus for roles involving exterior cleaning or yard maintenance.
• Strong client communication skills to understand preferences and deliver personalized housekeeping services.
• Physical ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking.
