Pacific Coast Village is known for unprecedented resort-style facilities rarely seen in New Zealand. We are seeking a passionate Housekeeper to join our innovative team.

The nature of the industry requires a high level of customer engagement and personal approach to build relationships. Being physically fit is a must, as you will be on your feet for the day. The successful candidate will be warm, friendly, and pleasant with our elderly residents - and have an eye for detail!

There is a casual role, covering across weekdays and weekends.

Key responsibilities:

• Keeping the communal buildings, villas, and care suites clean and tidy, and always well presented
• Following a daily schedule in a timely manner.
• Ensure cleaning product stock is up to date
• Laundry, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, etc.

A successful candidate will ideally:

• Have previous experience as a housekeeper or similar cleaning role
• Attention to detail
• Have good time management skills
• Be able to lift/carry medium to heavy objects and can comfortably wear a commercial backpack vacuum
• Be confident working on their own
• Be a good communicator
• Caring and compassionate
• Enjoy being with elderly residents.
