Duties

• Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate detergents and equipment to ensure hygiene and safety
• Handle laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing with care and efficiency
• Maintain floor care through sweeping, mopping, carpet cleaning, and specialized floor treatments to preserve flooring quality
• Use janitorial and cleaning equipment effectively while adhering to safety protocols for manual handling and heavy lifting
• Manage outdoor work responsibilities such as patio or porch cleaning when required
• Communicate professionally with clients about their specific needs and preferences to enhance satisfaction
• Ensure all surfaces are cleaned thoroughly, including kitchen counters, bathroom fixtures, windowsills, and furniture surfaces
• Follow proper procedures for trash disposal and recycling to maintain a tidy environment at all times

Skills

• Proven experience in residential cleaning or housekeeping roles with strong janitorial or custodial background
• Knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor care techniques, carpet cleaning methods, and sanitation standards
• Ability to operate various cleaning equipment safely and efficiently while following health guidelines
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively within scheduled shifts
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients
• Physical stamina for manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting and outdoor work activities
• Familiarity with cleaning detergents and disinfectants along with proper usage protocols
• Experience in housekeeper management or supervisory roles is a plus for leadership opportunities

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
