Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, restrooms, and service spaces using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies
• Ensure all surfaces, floors, windows, and fixtures are cleaned and sanitized according to established standards
• Follow OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) guidelines to maintain a safe working environment
• Conduct routine sanitation procedures, including waste disposal and disinfecting high-touch areas to prevent the spread of germs
• Maintain cleanliness of flooring through proper floor care techniques such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, or carpet cleaning
• Restock supplies like toiletries, towels, and cleaning materials in guest rooms and public spaces
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to management for resolution

Experience

• Prior custodial or janitorial experience preferred, especially within healthcare or hospitality environments
• Knowledge of environmental services standards and sanitation protocols is highly desirable
• Familiarity with commercial cleaning equipment and floor care techniques is a plus
• Experience working in hospital settings or with healthcare-related sanitation requirements is advantageous
• Ability to follow detailed cleaning procedures while maintaining efficiency and quality standards
• Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations related to cleaning chemicals and equipment ensures safe work practices
