Housekeeper

Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of residential or commercial spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface wiping to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards
• Handle laundry duties such as washing, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items efficiently
• Maintain floor care through sweeping, scrubbing, polishing, and carpet cleaning to ensure surfaces are spotless and well-maintained
• Ensure all sanitation protocols are followed to promote a safe and healthy environment for residents or guests
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing specific cleaning requests and responding promptly to client needs
• Manage janitorial supplies inventory, restocking as needed to ensure all cleaning tasks can be completed effectively
• Assist with housekeeping management tasks in larger facilities or hotels by coordinating schedules and supervising other staff members

Qualifications

• Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, custodial work, or hotel housekeeping is highly preferred
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care, sanitation practices, and laundry procedures
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and operating cleaning equipment safely
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
• Familiarity with janitorial supplies and equipment maintenance
• Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles is a plus
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
