Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive cleaning duties including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, carpet cleaning, and sanitation of all areas within residential properties
• Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate detergents and equipment to ensure hygiene standards are met
• Manage laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items
• Operate various cleaning equipment safely and efficiently, including vacuum cleaners, floor buffers, steam cleaners, and janitorial tools
• Handle manual tasks involving heavy lifting and outdoor work when necessary to maintain exterior areas or large furniture pieces
• Maintain detailed records of cleaning schedules, supplies inventory, and client preferences to ensure consistent service quality
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand specific needs and provide excellent customer service while respecting privacy and confidentiality

Qualifications

• Proven experience in residential cleaning or housekeeping roles with janitorial or custodial background preferred
• Knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor care techniques, carpet cleaning methods, and sanitation standards
• Familiarity with cleaning detergents, disinfectants, and proper handling of cleaning chemicals
• Strong manual handling skills with the ability to lift heavy objects safely
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently across multiple properties
• Outdoor work experience is a plus for maintaining exterior spaces or outdoor furniture
• Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients about their needs and preferences
