Housekeeper

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and order within our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. This position requires a strong commitment to quality service and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Clean sleeping rooms and conference rooms according to schedule provided by Housekeeping Manager.
• Responsible for keeping sleeping rooms clean and stocked with fresh linens, blankets, towels, soap, cups, tissues, and toilet paper.
• Responsible for keeping conference rooms clean and stocked with coffee, tea cups, peper towels, soap, tissues, and toilet paper.
• Performs periodic cleaning of windows, bedspreads, blankets, and carpeting as necessary.
• Inspects sleeping rooms and conference rooms for damage, hazards or problelms and reports to Housekeeping Manager for required maintenance.

Skills

• Proven experience in cleaning and housekeeping roles with a strong attention to detail.
• Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment is essential.
• Previous hotel or hospitality experience is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of janitorial practices and industrial cleaning methods is an asset.
• Experience in custodial management or housekeeping management is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
