Responsibilities

• Implement proper sanitation procedures to ensure all areas meet health and safety regulations.
• Handle laundry tasks efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing.
• Use cleaning equipment and detergents safely and effectively for tasks such as carpet cleaning, floor care, and surface sanitation.
• Manage manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting of furniture or supplies with proper technique to prevent injury.
• Communicate professionally with clients to understand their specific needs and provide excellent customer service.
• Maintain organized cleaning supplies inventory and ensure all tools are in good working condition for daily use.

Skills

• Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning environments with janitorial or custodial expertise.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning procedures, including floor cleaning, carpet care, dusting, and surface sanitation.
• Familiarity with cleaning detergents, disinfectants, and equipment used in professional housekeeping.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently within scheduled timeframes.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle outdoor work conditions when necessary.
• Outstanding customer service skills with clear client communication abilities.
• Experience in housekeeping management or supervisory roles is a plus for leadership opportunities.
