Housekeeper

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness in our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and staff. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team, weekends required. Position is Thursday - Monday.

Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including guest rooms, hallways, and common areas.
• Conduct floor care tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing.
• Manage housekeeping supplies and report any shortages or maintenance needs.
• Ensure all cleaning equipment is used safely and maintained properly.
• Follow established procedures for cleaning and sanitizing surfaces to meet health and safety standards.
• Provide exceptional hospitality by responding promptly to guest requests and inquiries.
• Assist with industrial cleaning tasks as needed in various settings.
• Collaborate with housekeeping management to uphold quality standards.

Experience

• Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial roles is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with hotel or hospitality environments is a plus.
• Knowledge of effective cleaning techniques and products is beneficial.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
• Excellent communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members.
