As a Housekeeper at YOUNG Learning Hotel, you play an essential role in the experience we provide to every guest. With energy, teamwork and attention to detail, you ensure that our rooms and shared spaces meet YOUNG.Hospitality’s standards for cleanliness, safety and comfort.

YOUNG Learning Hotel is more than a hotel. It is a place where hospitality professionals work, learn and develop together. In this role, you will gain practical experience, share knowledge with colleagues and contribute directly to the continued development of our hotel.

Your responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean guest rooms, bathrooms, public areas and other assigned spaces.
• Prepare rooms correctly and on time for arriving guests.
• Replace bed linen, towels and guest supplies according to hotel procedures.
• Restock toiletries and amenities in guest rooms and public areas.
• Remove waste and maintain clean, safe and organised working areas.
• Identify and report maintenance problems, damage or missing items.
• Follow all YOUNG.Hospitality safety, hygiene and housekeeping procedures.
• Communicate room status and important updates clearly with Reception and the Housekeeping Manager.
• Work with colleagues to ensure an efficient daily housekeeping operation.
• Support new colleagues and students by sharing knowledge and setting a positive example.
• Participate in practical training and contribute ideas for improving our procedures and guest experience.

What we are looking for

• Experience in hospitality or hotel housekeeping is an advantage, but motivation and willingness to learn are equally important.
• Strong cleaning skills and an understanding of hygiene standards.
• A positive, energetic and service-focused attitude.
• Good attention to detail and pride in delivering quality work.
• The physical ability to stand, bend, lift and remain active throughout a shift.
• Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Knowledge of cleaning products and techniques is preferred.
• The ability to work independently while contributing to a supportive team.
• An interest in hospitality, personal development and learning through practical experience.
