Housekeeper

The family consists of 2 adults and 2 lovely dogs (they are like family). We require a person who does standard housekeeping & cooking duties, including but not limited to house cleaning, laundry, ironing, and some light sewing, packing and unpacking suitcases, cleaning and organizing the kitchen, cleaning and organizing the garage/storage, watering the plants, knowledge of how to clean fine surfaces and care for expensive clothing, etc.

We are looking for someone who really loves dogs. You would be responsible for attending to the dogs, preparing their food, walking them, and, when needed, giving them a bath. Occasionally, you will need to stay at the house taking care of the dogs overnight. The dogs are really well-behaved and very gentle.

We require someone with 5 years’ experience who speaks English; a driver’s license is a plus. Sunny disposition a must.

While in Miami, live-out situation, shared space, fully furnished Apartment across the street provided. Dogs to stay with housekeeper when owners are away on travel.

Bailey Island, Maine. This position also requires travel to Bailey Island, Maine, in the summer months as a live-in housekeeper. During the summer months, it would require full-time attention. The property includes one main house and two guest cottages that require cleaning. The owners have several guests over the summer months, so upkeep on the guest houses is equally as important as the main house. Additional tasks while in Maine would include light gardening and caring for the dogs, as you would in the Miami apartment. Working hours in Maine would vary, as it is a full-time, live-in position. You will have a shared cabin down the street which has 3 bedrooms for personal space.
