Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive cleaning duties including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing floors to maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Implement proper sanitation procedures for bathrooms, kitchens, and other areas to ensure hygiene standards are met consistently.
• Manage laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing with care and efficiency.
• Use appropriate cleaning equipment and detergents safely to clean surfaces, furniture, carpets, and upholstery.
• Handle manual tasks including heavy lifting of furniture or supplies while adhering to safety protocols.
• Maintain organized cleaning supplies inventory and ensure all equipment is functioning properly for optimal performance.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand specific cleaning needs and provide exceptional customer service tailored to residential households.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in residential cleaning or housekeeping roles; janitorial or custodial experience is highly valued.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, carpet cleaning, and outdoor work experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with cleaning detergents, sanitation standards, and proper use of cleaning equipment.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently throughout the day.
• Physical ability to perform manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking.
• Excellent client communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high-quality standards in all tasks performed.

Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 30.0 per week
