Housekeeper

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organisation within various settings, ensuring a welcoming environment for clients and guests. Previous experience in janitorial, hotel, or commercial cleaning is advantageous, along with skills in cooking and customer service. This role offers an opportunity to work in a professional environment where attention to detail and reliability are highly valued.

Duties

• Clean and sanitise designated areas, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces
• Change bed linens and replenish supplies such as toiletries and towels
• Perform light cooking duties as required to assist guests or residents
• Maintain organisation of cleaning supplies and equipment
• Ensure all areas meet health and safety standards
• Respond promptly to special requests from clients or management
• Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning duties
• Follow organisational procedures to uphold high standards of cleanliness and hygiene

Skills

• Proven experience in janitorial, hotel, or commercial cleaning environments is preferred
• Ability to perform light cooking tasks efficiently and safely
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanour
• Excellent organisational skills with keen attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good time management skills to complete tasks within designated timeframes
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties which involve standing for long periods and lifting moderate loads

This position is ideal for individuals who take pride in creating clean, comfortable environments and possess excellent organisational abilities. Prior experience in hospitality or commercial cleaning will be considered an asset.
