Duties

• Perform comprehensive cleaning of residential spaces, including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, and sanitation procedures to maintain hygiene standards.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, carpet cleaners, and floor polishers efficiently and safely.
• Manage laundry tasks including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items.
• Use appropriate cleaning detergents and supplies to clean surfaces, floors, windows, and outdoor areas when necessary.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand specific needs and provide excellent customer service while maintaining professional conduct.
• Maintain organized cleaning schedules using time management skills to ensure all tasks are completed promptly.
• Conduct outdoor work when required, including patio or garden area cleaning or maintenance.
• Ensure all janitorial supplies are stocked and properly stored; report any equipment malfunctions or supply shortages promptly.

Experience

• Proven experience in residential housekeeping or custodial roles with a strong understanding of cleaning techniques and sanitation standards.
• Familiarity with commercial cleaning equipment and methods for floor care, carpet cleaning, and surface sanitation.
• Prior experience in laundry management including handling delicate fabrics and stain removal techniques.
• Knowledge of cleaning detergents, disinfectants, and proper manual handling procedures for heavy lifting and outdoor work.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients about their needs.
• Demonstrated ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Previous experience in housekeeper management or supervisory roles is a plus but not required.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
