Housekeeper

Job Overview

$150 sign on bonus after 60 days (please speak with management for details). We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Housekeeper to join our team and ensure the highest standards of cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare guest rooms according to hotel standards.
• Make beds and replace sheets, pillowcases, and other linens.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, showers, tubs, sinks, mirrors, and floors.
• Dust furniture, fixtures, lamps, televisions, and other surfaces.
• Vacuum carpets and sweep and mop floors.
• Remove trash and replace trash liners.
• Replenish towels, toiletries, coffee supplies, and other guest-room amenities.
• Check rooms for missing, damaged, or malfunctioning items.
• Report maintenance issues promptly to the appropriate department.
• Report lost-and-found items according to hotel procedures.
• Maintain housekeeping carts and supplies in a clean and organized condition.
• Follow proper procedures for handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Respond professionally and courteously to reasonable guest requests.
• Maintain guest privacy and security at all times.
• Follow hotel safety, cleanliness, and sanitation standards.
• Assist with cleaning common areas or other housekeeping duties when needed.
• Complete assigned rooms within established productivity and quality standards.

Skills

• Previous hotel housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred, but not required.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Positive and professional attitude.
• Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors, coworkers, and guests.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays as required by hotel operations.

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24.0 – 32.0 per week
