Housekeeper

Job Summary

Duties

• Perform comprehensive cleaning of residential spaces, including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, and sanitation of bathrooms and kitchens
• Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate detergents and equipment to ensure hygiene standards are met or exceeded
• Conduct laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing clothing and linens for clients
• Utilize proper manual handling techniques for heavy lifting tasks related to moving furniture or large items safely
• Maintain clean floors through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and specialized floor care methods to preserve flooring integrity
• Manage cleaning equipment effectively, ensuring tools are maintained, sanitized, and ready for use at all times
• Communicate professionally with clients to understand their specific needs and provide excellent customer service while respecting their privacy

Requirements

• Proven experience in residential cleaning or housekeeping roles with knowledge of cleaning surfaces, outdoor work experience preferred
• Familiarity with cleaning detergents, sanitation practices, and floor cleaning techniques
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently within scheduled timeframes
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks confidently
• Excellent client communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
• Knowledge of cleaning equipment operation including vacuums, buffers, steam cleaners, etc.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments while maintaining high standards of cleanliness

Pay: $16.50 - $17.50 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
