Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive cleaning duties including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing all designated areas.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness in bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, common areas, and other assigned spaces.
• Restock supplies such as towels, toiletries, and cleaning products to ensure availability for residents.
• Follow established safety procedures and use cleaning equipment properly to prevent accidents or damage.
• Report any maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and uphold safety standards.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and waste disposal.
• Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleans as scheduled to maintain overall hygiene excellence.

Skills

• Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles with a strong understanding of cleaning techniques and standards.
• Ability to work efficiently independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and quality of work.
• Good physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and move equipment throughout the shift.
• Strong communication skills for reporting issues and coordinating with team members.
• Knowledge of safety protocols related to chemical handling and equipment use is preferred.

Pay: £12.71-£13.10 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
