Housekeeper

Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest room spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitation to ensure a hygienic environment
• Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate detergents and equipment to maintain high standards of cleanliness
• Maintain the cleanliness of surfaces like countertops, appliances, and bathroom areas with attention to detail
• Communicate professionally with clients to understand specific needs and provide exceptional customer service
• Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are properly stored, maintained, and replenished as needed
• Follow health and safety guidelines related to sanitation and custodial procedures to promote a safe working environment

Requirements

• Proven experience in housekeeping roles with strong janitorial or custodial background preferred
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques including dusting, floor care, surface sanitation
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently within scheduled timeframes
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
• Experience in residential housekeeping or hospitality environments is advantageous but not mandatory
