Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of residential spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors, and surface sanitation to uphold hygiene standards.
• Handle laundry duties efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items.
• Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate detergents and equipment to ensure safe and effective results.
• Maintain floor care through sweeping, scrubbing, polishing, and carpet cleaning to keep all surfaces pristine.
• Manage outdoor work tasks such as patio cleaning or yard tidying when required.
• Use janitorial equipment properly for tasks like floor cleaning, surface disinfection, and trash removal while practicing manual handling safety protocols.
• Communicate effectively with clients or residents regarding their specific cleaning needs or requests to enhance satisfaction.

Experience

• Prior experience in residential cleaning or housekeeping roles is preferred; familiarity with custodial or janitorial work is highly advantageous.
• Demonstrated ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor scrubbers, carpet cleaners, and other tools safely and efficiently.
• Knowledge of cleaning detergents, sanitation standards, and proper handling of cleaning supplies.
• Experience with outdoor work tasks related to property maintenance is a plus.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively throughout the day.
• Physical capability for heavy lifting and manual handling involved in moving furniture or large items safely.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients or residents about their expectations and feedback.

Pay: From $13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
