Housekeeper

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and order in residential or hotel environments. This position requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to work independently while ensuring that all cleaning tasks are completed to the highest standards.

Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, common areas, and facilities, ensuring all surfaces are sanitized and spotless.
• Manage housekeeping tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors, and carpet cleaning.
• Launder linens and towels, ensuring they are fresh and well-presented for guests or residents.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or needs for replenishment.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally.
• Assist with housekeeping management duties as needed, including training new staff members on proper cleaning techniques.
• Prepare meals as required, adhering to dietary restrictions or preferences when applicable.

Requirements

• Proven experience in housekeeping or a related field is preferred; experience in hotel settings is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and chemicals used in residential or commercial cleaning.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing time effectively to complete tasks.
• Attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation.
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
