Housekeeper

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Housekeeper to join our team on a 1099 independent contractor basis. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and overall hygiene of residential/commercial properties. Your attention to detail and commitment to sanitation will ensure our clients enjoy a comfortable, spotless environment. This position offers flexibility and the opportunity to work independently while delivering exceptional cleaning services that exceed expectations.

Duties

• Perform comprehensive cleaning of residential spaces, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and living areas
• Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures to ensure health and safety standards are met
• Use appropriate cleaning detergents and equipment to clean surfaces, floors, carpets, and upholstery effectively
• Handle laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing clothing and linens
• Maintain cleanliness of floors through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and floor care techniques
• Manage manual handling tasks including heavy lifting of furniture or large items with proper safety protocols
• Communicate professionally with clients to understand specific cleaning needs and provide excellent customer service

Skills

• Proven experience in residential cleaning or janitorial work with a focus on sanitation and surface cleaning
• Strong knowledge of cleaning equipment, tools, and supplies including carpet cleaners and floor care products
• Ability to follow detailed cleaning instructions and implement sanitation procedures consistently
• Excellent time management skills to complete assigned tasks efficiently within scheduled timeframes
• Physical stamina for outdoor work experiences such as yard or exterior cleaning when required
• Effective client communication skills to ensure customer satisfaction and address any concerns promptly
• Familiarity with cleaning surfaces such as tile, hardwood, carpet, and upholstery using appropriate methods

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
