Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Housekeeper to join our team and ensure that our residential spaces are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional cleaning services, managing household chores efficiently, and creating a welcoming environment for clients. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will contribute significantly to maintaining the pristine condition of our clients’ homes. Duties

• Perform comprehensive cleaning of residential spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitation
• Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures to ensure hygiene standards are consistently met
• Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping, polishing, and carpet cleaning using appropriate equipment and detergents
• Manage laundry tasks including washing, drying, folding, and ironing clothing and linens
• Handle manual lifting of furniture, appliances, and heavy items safely during deep cleaning or moving tasks
• Maintain cleanliness of outdoor areas when required, including patios and entryways
• Use cleaning equipment effectively while adhering to safety guidelines and proper handling techniques
• Communicate professionally with clients to understand their specific needs and deliver personalized service
• Ensure all surfaces are cleaned thoroughly, including kitchens, bathrooms, and living areas
• Follow time management practices to complete tasks efficiently within scheduled timeframes

Skills

• Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning with janitorial or custodial background preferred
• Strong knowledge of cleaning detergents, disinfectants, and sanitation products
• Expertise in floor cleaning techniques for various surfaces including hardwood, tile, carpet, and outdoor flooring
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, steam cleaners, buffers, and carpet extractors
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients
• Skilled in dusting, surface cleaning, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the home
• Experience with laundry processes including stain removal and fabric care
• Knowledge of outdoor work requirements for maintaining patios or garden areas when necessary
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently throughout the workday
• Physical ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks comfortably

Pay: $15.00 - $15.50 per hour

Expected hours: 32.0 – 40.0 per week
