Housekeeper

Job Summary

Holiday Inn Express Hillsville by IHG is seeking a diligent housekeeper to maintain a clean an orderly environment for our 54 room, limited service hotel. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring a high standard of cleanliness and sanitation throughout the premises while following IHG's Way of Clean Program.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sweeping.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas.
• Change linens and make beds.
• Restock supplies such as toiletries and cleaning products.
• Handle laundry duties including washing, drying, and folding, if necessary.
• Adhere to health and safety standards while carrying out cleaning tasks.
• Report any maintenance issues or damages to the appropriate personnel.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in floor care, industrial cleaning, and housekeeping management.
• Knowledge of custodial practices and procedures.
• Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning tasks.
• Understanding of hospitality or hotel housekeeping standards.
