Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of all residential areas, including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, and sanitation of bathrooms and kitchens.
• Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate detergents and equipment to ensure a hygienic environment.
• Manage laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing.
• Operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently, including vacuum cleaners, floor buffers, mops, and other janitorial tools.
• Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of furniture or supplies with proper technique to prevent injury.
• Maintain cleanliness of outdoor spaces when required, including patios or entryways.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand specific needs and provide personalized housekeeping services while maintaining professionalism.

Skills

• Proven experience in residential cleaning or housekeeping management with janitorial or custodial background preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor cleaning techniques, and floor care products.
• Ability to follow detailed cleaning procedures ensuring sanitation standards are met consistently.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently throughout the workday.
• Customer service orientation with the ability to communicate clearly with clients regarding their preferences or special requests.
• Familiarity with cleaning detergents, disinfectants, and proper handling of cleaning supplies.
• Outdoor work experience is a plus for maintaining exterior spaces or patios as needed.
• Physical stamina for manual handling tasks including heavy lifting; ability to stand, bend, kneel, and walk for extended periods.
